The Analysis of Quality of Ferrous Burden Materials and Its Effect on the Parameters of Blast Furnace Process

Kardas Czestochowa University of Technology, Faculty of Materials Processing Technology And Applied Physics, Czestochowa, Poland The analysis of the eff ect of the qualit y of f errous burden materials on the paramet ers of blast furnac e process is presented in this paper. First, the quantitative and qualitative analysis of ferrous burden materials used in blast furnace process was made. The chemical composition, mainly iron content, is the basic qualit y parameter taken into consideration. Then, the dependence of parameters of process on the qualit y parameters of burden materials will be calculated.
